History of the Institute.

Puri Private ITI Kohka Bhilai was established on 07.10.1994 by Late Shri Rameshwar Puri.  By that time, it named as “Puri Technical Training Institute – Bhilai”. It got first Standing Committee NCVT visit on 16.09.1995 leading to permanent affiliation by National Council for Vocational Training NCVT for 2 units of Trade – FITTER. Later on during the forthcoming years, the institute got trades of high potency like Electrician, Mason & COPA Permanently Affiliated to NCVT, by the then Ministry of Labour & Employment [ now MSDE], Government of India.

During the year 2009, the institute was taken over by “The Institute of Engineers Society” keeping keen interest towards better fulfilment of Quality based Technicians for Industrial service”
